Acupressure

Acupressure is an alternative medicine technique similar in principle to Acupuncture. It is based on the concept of life energy which flows through “meridians” in the body. In treatment, physical pressure is applied to trigger points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians. Pressure may be applied by hand, by elbow, or with various devices. Some medical studies have suggested that acupressure may be effective at helping manage nausea and vomiting, or for helping lower back pain. Electro Homoeopathy is a derivative of homeopathy invented in the 19th century by Count Cesare Mattei. The Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali defines yoga as “the stilling of the changing states of the mind”. Yoga has also been popularly defined as “union with the divine” in other contexts and traditions.

The term meditation refers to a broad variety of practices (much like the term sports) that includes techniques designed to promote relaxation, build internal energy or life force and develop compassion,love, patience, generosity and forgiveness.
